[Carpenter] Grassland Reserve Program

Thanks John -

That makes perfect sense, and is indeed what we would want presuming a
permanent sign-up.

As you know, we plan on eventually building several lakes on the property
- mostly for soil conservation purposes, at least one with the dual
purpose of soil conservation and tree reduction for our prairie chicken
effort (and conveniently providing wonderful scenery from our house).

So it sounds like we either need to create some detailed long-range plans
now so that we don't accidently enroll land that someday will be flooded,
or perhaps we should select the 10-year program so that accidents have a
method of rectification? Personally, I'd like to create the long-range
plan, but that will be a group effort.

Is everyone up to working together to create such a long-range plan (which
presume the group consensus is that we should engage in this program)?
