Kevin,

the Grassland Reserve Program (GRP) was a program originally designed for protection of rich, grassland resources. It was supposed to target remnant grasslands and even diverse restorations. Adari Co. had a sign-up a couple of years ago and accepted 2 tracts. It is extremely doubtful that GRP will be funded again in the near future.

Just curious if anyone could enlighten me on the status of the GRP program
mentioned in the current MPF journal?

I'm way open to suggestions on what programs, if any, the bulk of my land
qualifies for, or that it could be granted into.  As discussed, a few
acres have been reserved, and fenced off, for our domestication, but the
rest (less ponds & treelines) is pretty much in this teams hands!

I'd like to know more about permanent legal protection as well...
