[Carpenter] Bee status

Just a quick status update:

Our bees were hived over the weekend of the 13th, I checked them yesterday
and one hive is off and running - with a queen laying eggs before the
workers have homes for them!  The other queen didn't make it - it happens.

My supplier is overnighting me a new queen, and we will be out tomorrow
afternoon (Tuesday, the 22nd) to install her.  Luck was on my side - I had
a rare afternoon without meetings scheduled.

Met with Sonny briefly yesterday - he is going to coordinate with the
electric company for me:  Two poles over to the Snyder place were about to
fall over this winter (you may recall them from our walk).  The electric
company reset them in new holes as a temporary fix and will be permanently
fixing them soon.  Sonny will make sure the one by the house site will be
large enough to carry a transformer, and will see about moving the
southern one up-hill a bit - its in the middle of a spot that may,
someday, become a pond site.
