Kevin,

If you call FSA (660)665-3274 ext. 2 they'll give you a run down on base acres. Basically, you're getting paid by the USDA for not cropping.

I'm a bit slow this morning... can you explain what it means to have "base
acres" then?  Do I need to keep this letter for any reason?
