[Carpenter] 4/9/08 Status update

Hi Grant -

Yes, we are enjoying the journey, but like many a busy vacation, the trip
itself is rather exhausting.

Thanks for the clarification - I was NOT aware of the past list.

Do many people put in for funds, then change their minds when it comes
time to pay the upfront cost? I would think at least some peoples
financial situations would dictate such a reaction.

With regards to the wait: I'm just glad we bought when we did and got
into this springs sign-up. Had we be bought now, it sounds like it would
be MANY years before such funds became available.

I would like to discuss with you the dry holes needed to keep my property
in Missouri <smile>. Are those cheap enough, and is the situation urgent
enough, that I should just do them myself and use the SWCD funds for
larger projects?

Oh, forgot one other update: We are having a public water tap put in.

Cheers,

Kevin
